Many bodywork therapists wish they could have some pre-treatment assessments to help guide them to appropriate treatment with massage or exercises. These assessments can also be performed post-treatment to check effectiveness. Not only is this good for the practitioner, it gives confidence to the client who can clearly see the improvement.

The Introduction to Muscle Testing Course includes assessment techniques for lower back and pelvis including:
– Latissimus dorsi
– Psoas major
– Piriformis
– Tensor Fasciae Latae
– Gluteus medius
– Gluteus maximus
– Quadratus lumborum.

These tests give assessment skills for massage and soft tissue therapists that can be included in a massage therapy session to see if there has been an improvement between pre and post massage/treatment. Subsequent sets will be taught in future workshops.

Useful to any massage and soft tissue therapist, Bowen practitioner, Pilates instructor, yoga practitioner, personal trainer, reflexologist or bodyworker who wish to tailor each session or treatment to suit each client. It also gives clear evidence of improvement.

The course is delivered by Earle Abrahamson & Jane Langston and is supplemented by their book “Muscle Testing: A Concise Manual” due for publication in October 2019
